Author Ron Romano Presents:
Stories from Maine Cemeteries - Lives Cut Short

Ron Romano returns to Gray Public Library with his new book, Stories from Maine Cemeteries--Lives Cut Short. He'll show how gravestones from the 1800's were inscribed and decorated with symbols to memorialize those who died before their time, and he'll share stories of Mainers whose lives were cut short by lightning, shipwreck, disease...even murder. Copies of the book will be available for autographing and sale.

An Evening of Conversation with Author Edith Netter

Join us at Gray Public Library on June 23rd at 6:00pm for conversation with Edith Netter on her memoir, The House at Schumannstrasse 7, a Holocaust survivor's tale told in the voice of Alice Rothschild Netter, the author's grandmother.
​
Readers young and old will be interested in and benefit from this true story.
